These pages provide the findings from the Ulster County youth who participated in the New York State Youth Development Survey conducted in the Fall of 2008 and in the Fall of 2010. The survey instrument was designed to assess risk and protective factors that predict substance use and other problem behaviors such as delinquency. The survey also measures substance use, youth gambling and other problem behaviors. In addition, grade groups and gender comparisons often are provided as well. For reporting purposes, the results of the County-wide youth surveys conducted in 2008 and in 2010 have been divided into four zones. You may review the actual survey form used by clicking here.
