When Phil Terpening, chairman of our board, died last October, Ulster County lost an outstanding citizen, legislator, and friend.

We have created the Innovations in Substance Abuse Prevention Awards in his honor.
Win an Innovations in Substance Abuse Award

Student Competition:
The 2011 Award for Youth will go to a youth group, school health class, key club, SADD chapter, club or team for sharing the results of the 2010 Youth Development Survey with their entire student body.

Coalition Competition:
The 2011 Community Award will go to the community group that implements the most effective strategy to educate parents about the results of the 2010 Youth Development Survey.
